Low-carbon Manufacturing for a Sustainable Society
Ching Yuang believes in the principle of ESG development. We are always improving on our low-carbon manufacturing processes, we put people first by creating a safe and comfortable work environment, and ensure that our structures and processes further these goals.
Our successes and achievenments are thanks to the people who make up the Ching Yuang family and the society that supports us. Proudly based in Taiwan, we give back by developing products and services that help solve the natural and societal problems of our times. We have also been working hard to enhance corporate values through our ESG initiatives.
In the future, Ching Yuang will continue to further advance the industry and improve our service capabilities. We will continue our work with the Industrial Research Institute, recruit domestic and foreign experts, strengthen research and technological innovation, develop and manufacture products that complement the wind and solar energy industry, and implement low-carbon manufacturing. We keep the spirit of environmental sustainability in all our operations and management, and strive to become a global corporate benchmark for sustainable development.
Our ESG Initiatives
1. Tree Planting Initiatives
Every year, we conduct regular tree planting initiatives in different cities, selecting tree species capable of absorbing significantly higher carbon levels than on average to help in the battle against global warming. These trees absorb carbon eight times more efficiently than the average, not only helping slow down greenhouse gas accumulation but also contributing to maintaining ecological balance. We are committed to establishing a large botanical garden that is not only a lush recreational space, but also a hub for biodiversity. We aim to provide the community with a harmonious natural environment that serves as a crucial site for education and research. Through this initiative, we aspire to achieve a symbiotic relationship with nature and drive environmental sustainability.
2. Green Products and Packaging Reuse
We center our approach to manufacturing on green design and are dedicated to creating environmentally friendly products. We focus not only on manufacturing processes with zero emissions, but also on the recycling of materials and using resources in the circular economy to minimize waste. Besides this, each product we manufacture undergoes rigorous energy efficiency label certification, ensuring that our products achieve optimal standards in energy use efficiency. Through these efforts, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact while providing high-quality, green solutions.
3. Textbook sponsorships
We’ve kicked off a sponsorship program where we regularly donate textbooks to elementary and middle schools in northern Taiwan. This effort is all about supporting education and ensuring kids have what they need for a worry-free learning experience. This social contribution initiative aims to make sure students get top-notch educational resources, helping them develop in every way possible. Our goal is to ease the financial load on families, so more children can get a quality education regardless of the financial situation of their families, giving everyone an equal shot at success. We truly believe that through the power of education, we can nurture future leaders and make a real contribution to the community’s prosperity.
4. Donations to Governments
We actively engage in social welfare initiatives by providing swift and effective assistance during natural disasters and other unforeseen events. We regularly donate balloons lights and ventilation fans needed to support the rescue efforts of government agencies and private entities during events like mining emergencies and earthquakes. In the event of major workplace accidents, we are the first to offer assistance, ensuring that the affected areas receive timely support for rescue operations. Through these donations and assistance efforts, we aim to provide reliable support in critical moments, demonstrating our commitment to building a better society and the role that corporations can play in this.
5. Partnership with Taiwan’s Industrial Technology Research Institute
